Ballynature Day 2026

NICE was delighted to be back in Ballynure on 28 February 2026, joining Drumlin, Co‑operative Alternatives and CENI under the Community Energy in Northern Ireland banner. The event stretched across the local church site and was packed with families, children and young people, the perfect audience for hands‑on energy learning.

Our stand was busy all day, and we ran our energy and climate quiz three times, with plenty of determined young competitors tackling some surprisingly tough questions. Many went home proudly carrying solar‑powered toy cars and robots as first, second and third‑place prizes.

We also welcomed several MLAs, who showed genuine interest in the progress of community energy across Northern Ireland. It was a great day for conversations, curiosity and visibility.
